I am immensely proud to be the Headteacher of Dorchester Primary - a school with a strong reputation for its care and inclusivity.

Our staff are committed to ensuring that every child has the right opportunities and guidance to fulfil their potential, regardless of what barriers and challenges they may face.

Our curriculum has been carefully considered to take account of our demographic and the interests of our pupils, whilst also offering the breadth and challenge of the National Curriculum.

We pride ourselves on our strong relationships with our families; we know that success can only be achieved with a consistent and collaborative approach between all stakeholders involved in a child's life. In addition to this, we recognise the valuable contribution that our parents/carer make to our school community and regularly invite them into school to share their child's learning.

Our active and committed PTA plan and hold events and fundraisers throughout the year to engage the community and contribute to the wider opportunities we offer. Our 'Dorchester Dozen' are designed to ensure that all child have valuable and meaningful experiences during their time at Dorchester, whilst also raising their aspirations.
